PMAY housing units increases by 7.5
lakh in Uttar Pradesh
The joint collaboration of the Central and State Government of
Uttar Pradesh headed by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has led to additional
7.5 PMAY units being sanctioned.
Also, under the Mukhyamantri Awas Yojana, the CM of UP has
recently transferred a loan amount of Rs.87 crores. It is done to build 21,500
housing units in the state.
Anyone who has been so far left out of the Pradhan Mantri Awas
Yojana is eligible to make the most of it.
As per Yogi, many social communities have still not been able to
avail of the benefits of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana so far. Some of them have been
Musahar and Vantangiya. They have not received PMAY perks till 2017. Even since
the launch of Mukhyamantri Awas Yojana, a lot of them have been able to pocket
the benefits.
Adityanath is also of the opinion that applicants chosen for this
scheme will also be given the benefit of other schemes automatically if they
are deprived of it.
